Valentine's Day, 2012
These were the roses Joseph sent to Ashley on
Valentine's Day. She was so surprised!

down at the river cottage early last spring.

spent a lot of fun times this spring and summer!
We took across the state to the mountains the end of
May, 2012 where our two families stayed in a
mountain cabin for our church campmeeting. We
enjoyed sitting on the porch early in the morning
after our walk.

It was beautiful there and we had such a fun
time together!

August 28, 2012, the night Joseph proposed.

In September we took a camping trip together with
Ashley's family to Okracoke Island. We had fun on the
beach an only got rained out a couple of times!

The trip we took together to the mountains
in October to see the fall color. It was
beautiful!
On October 30,2012, we celebrated the day we had
first met one year before. We had dinner together
and spent the evening at the river cottage.
In November, we took at trip to Michigan to pick up
furniture and belongings from Ashley's
Grandfather's estate. This was how we traveled
once we got everything loaded!
Ashley wanted a boat ride, so Joseph gave her one!
You can't go to Ludington Michigan without going
for ice cream at House of Flavors Ice Cream Parlor,
so we stopped in for a treat!
This was getting the boat off once we got home!
We took a Sunday in December to meet at Joseph's
house and do some holiday baking. What fun! Yum!!!!
December also is birthday time for Joseph, and he
found out how much fun it can be if you have little
sisters who want to make the most of the occasion!
In honor of Joseph turning 30, Ashley met
him at their new house and made breakfast
for him that morning. We improvised with
our lack of furniture!
